Student Audio Production
Support students with recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio projects
Run weekly beginner and advanced audio production club sessions
Supervise student recording work during scheduled afternoon and eveningalbum and recording project sessions
Teach students how to record, arrange, and produce their own compositions
Provide practical instruction in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, or Reaper
Encourage good working practices, including file organisation, session setup, and safe use of equipment
Live Sound Training and Events
Provide live sound training for school events, including several hours of preparation before each event
Support and run sound during rehearsals
Operate live sound for performances and school events, with student involvement where appropriate
Teach setup, operation, and pack-down of live sound systems
Instruct students in the use of microphones, mixers, speakers, monitors, and signal flow
Equipment and Spaces
Maintain recording and live sound equipment in working order
Carry out basic troubleshooting and system setup
Keep studio and theatre sound areas organised and safe
Working with Staff and Students
Work alongside teaching and arts staff to support productions, rehearsals, and events
Coordinate audio support for student projects and school activities
