We are looking for a Researcher and Translator to be part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Shanghai Representative Office.
The Researcher and Translator will be responsible for：
- Monitoring and researching Chinese financial markets and regulatory environments.
- Attend and report on keynotes and panel discussions during financial seminars/conferences (live or virtual) from Chinese to English.
- Assist in translation of documents from Chinese to English (and vice versa) related to the financial markets and financial regulatory developments.
The ideal candidate should have experience researching Chinese financial markets and is effectively bilingual. He/she should have a great attention to detail, is a team player, and able to undertake tasks independently. Candidates should be analytical, resourceful, adaptable, and possess strong communication skills.
Basic requirements：
- Good university degree, preferably in Business or Economics.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in the financial sector in China, preferably in research.
- Proficient in English, ability to read and write business English.
