1. strategy, policies and rules
1)responsible for local execution of internal meeting & travel strategy (operational)
2)support creation, development and follow-up of local meeting & travel guidelines
2. manage and support the value chain for meetings & travel (demand & supply)
1)capture and evaluate business needs in the meeting & travel area. deliver decision support for local action plan and prioritisation. lead implementation and follow-up.
2)secure that operational services & tools are working well and are meeting the needs of all co-workers
3)manage supplier relations on operational level and keep up to date with (local) industry best practice
4)own and develop specialist area within meetings & travel (e.g. large meetings, virtual meetings, travel services & administration), reporting to meeting & travel manager (if applicable in large country)
3. ambassador and change agent
1)secure good meeting culture in organisation and leadership, including efficient planning and administration of meetings and travel
2)secure a good communication and information flow within the local organisation and with global matrix
requirements:
1. experience from meeting & travel industry or equivalent work within the service sector
2. ability to understand customer needs
3. ability to understand and support strategic development and to manage operational services & tools
4. good general it knowledge, preferably concerning meeting and travel solutions & tools
5. good communication and information management skills
6. fluent in english, both written and spoken
